Our Experience at EXPOAPA 2024: Innovation and Collaboration in the Water and Sewerage Sector
From June 11-13, our subsidiary COPLAN C.A.I. located in Bucharest participated as an exhibitor at the 24th edition of the Regional Water Forum “Danube-Eastern Europe,” Expoapa 2024 in Romania. This flagship event in the water and sewerage sector, organized by the Romanian Water Association, is a key platform for industry professionals. Over the past two years, COPLAN Bucharest has attended previous editions, impressed by the diversity and expertise of the exhibitors. This year, COPLAN aimed to add significant value to the event.
The inaugural “Expoapa” within the Regional Water Forum “Danube-Eastern Europe” in Romania took place in 1998, marking over 26 years of history. It has become a crucial event in the field of water and environmental protection in Romania and Eastern Europe, held annually with a brief interruption during the pandemic. Expoapa brings together professionals, companies, and institutions in the water sector, serving as a platform for discussions, presentations, and workshops on current topics of interest. Experts discuss the latest technological innovations and sustainable solutions for water resource management.
At this exhibition, our Romanina colleagues had the opportunity to engage with numerous representatives from regional water operators (Bucharest, Brăila, Tulcea, Cluj, Sălaj, Brașov, Turda, and Sibiu) the academic environment, and potential partners/competitors. Additionally, Expoapa showcased the expertise of several companies supplying equipment, materials, and solutions for water supply and sewage systems. We are really happy about our participation at this years Expoapa. We had a lot of interesting dicussion and linked up with various companies in the technology and infrastructure construction sectors for subsequent meetings to discuss potential future collaborations.
The COPLAN C.A.I.-Team from Bucharest was represented by Dr. Eng. Mircea Georgescu, Eng. Dragos Igna, Eng. Adrian Cojocaru, and Alexandra Proca at this event. This participation was an extraordinary opportunity for team building, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving our common goals. During the exhibition, our colleagues accessed new information essential for the continuous improvement of our projects and stayed updated with the latest trends and innovations in the industry. The event facilitated networking with other professionals, allowing us to establish valuable relationships.
Expoapa 2024 was undoubtedly a beneficial experience, significantly contributing to our professional development and team strengthening. We consider our participation as an exhibitor at the Regional Water Forum “Danube-Eastern Europe,” Expoapa 2024 in Romania a great success, as we were able to expand our company’s visibility in the Romanian market.
